What do I have to do?
The first thing to do if you want to try homeopathy for your illness is to email or telephone me to book a consultation. If you would rather speak to me personally before commiting yourself to an appointment, I usually organise time each month so that people can 'drop in' to talk about their illness, and for me to explain how homeopathy might help. This is free of charge, and without obligation.
The first consultation will usually last for an hour, to an hour and a half. During that time we will build up a complete picture of your symptoms and your illness, including your past medical history. I will ask you to describe your symptoms in as much detail as possible. I will also want to know about other aspects of your life, such as your diet, your emotions, your sleep patterns, your work, and how you cope with stress, and probably much more.
On the basis of this information, I will be able to provide you with a remedy, along with instructions about how to keep them, and take them.
The number of subsequent consultations you will require will depend on your personal circumstances, like your state of health, and how long you have been ill. I like to see patients in monthly to six-weekly intervals.
It is normally necessary to have at least three to four sessions, after which we will discuss the progress made, and consider future treatment plans.
