Personal Information

SteveHello, I am Steve Scrutton.

I was born in Norwich in 1946. I am married with grown up children - and a growing number of grandchildren.

I became interested in homeopathy when I suffered from gastric ulcers, and refused to take a conventional drug that was found to cause adverse, or disease-inducing effects on the heart. I have not suffered from ulcers now for over 30 years. From that time I have used homeopathy both for myself and my family as I consider to be a safe and effective medical treatment, free from the dangers of pharmaceutical drugs.

Before moving into homeopathy, I worked as a teacher (in comprehensive and special schools), and then as a social worker (with young offenders, in child protection, and then in managing services for older people).

I trained in Homeopathy with the British Institute of Homeopathy, qualifying in 2000 (DIHom-Prct), and I have practiced as a homeopath since that time.

I am a registered member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (MARH), and a Director of this organisation which represents nearly 700 homeopaths in the UK.
