Evidence 3. RCT Evidence
Randomised Controlled Tests (RCTs) are the third, and arguably the least important type of evidence supporting homeopathy. Despite this, there is a considerable body of RCT evidence now available, mostly developed during the past 10-15 years, and which has demonstrated that homeopathy is an effective medical therapy.
In order to see this evidence, look at the following sources, where RCT evidence has been collected and discussed, and made available for study.
- The Emerging Science of Homeopathy. Complexity, Biodynamics and Nanopharmacology. Paolo Bellavite, Andrea Signorini. North Atlantic Books, Berkeley (2002).
- The Trials of Homeopathy. Origins, structure and development. Michael Emmans Dean. KVG/Verlag, Essen (2004).
If you examine this evidence, the claim that 'there is no evidence for homeopathy', or that 'homeopathy is no more than placebo' will be seen for what they are:
the anti-homeopathy rhetoric of the conventional medical establishment.
